The Christian Churches Disability Ministry exists to enhance the lives of persons with physical and developmental disabilities, and to promote the welfare of persons with mental and physical disabilities through direct care, education and training, and enabling others through training, resources, and encouragement to effectively minister to persons with disabilities.
As an independent Christian non-profit ministry, the Christian Churches Disability Ministry (CCDM) strives to enhance the lives of persons with disabilities in three ways:
For almost thirty years, CCDM has ministered to the disability community through direct service, by enabling others through training and resources to effectively minister to persons with disabilities, and through partnerships with churches and organizations to better meet the needs of people with disabilities across the country.
CCDM currently manages two residential living programs for those with disabilities.
In order to educate those who feel called to participate in a disability ministry, CCDM produces numerous educational resources in the form of interactive and video-based training platforms, books, and pamphlets.
